Melbourne Cup Carnival Media Accreditation

Media seeking access to cover the 2014 Melbourne Cup Carnival in a working capacity must submit an application for media accreditation by Friday 26 September.

Media accreditation provides working media on-site event access to the 2014 Melbourne Cup Carnival.

Wrights PR manages the Media Accreditation Unit on behalf of the VRC.

Media wishing to apply for on-site media accreditation must contact the Media Accreditation Unit on
+61 (0)3 8378 0770 or mediaaccred@vrc.net.au

Submitting an application for on-site media accreditation does not guarantee approval.

To enhance the experience for accredited media, media accreditation will be strictly limited to 1,000 personnel in 2014.  Priority will be given to VRC media partners, outlets with high circulation/reach, timely applications and/or outlets that provide proof of coverage of previous Melbourne Cup Carnivals or other VRC events.

You may be required to substantiate your application to the Media Accreditation Unit, managed by Wrights PR, who will contact you if there are any concerns with your application.
